The celebrations for the third consecutive UEFA Champions title victory wasn't over yet, Real Madrid F.C. manager Zinedine Zidane has shockingly buried the happiness.

The 45-year old former Real Madrid legend announced he is stepping out of his duty as the Spanish side's manager Tuesday morning, May 31, during a press conference.

I have taken the decision to not continue going into the next season. For me and for everybody, I think the moment to change has arrived. It was not an easy decision.

The Former World Cup winner said.

This was a totally unexpected decision, Zidane informed me of his choice yesterday. I thank him for the work he has done.

said the Real Madrid's president, Florentino Perez who joined Zidane at the conference.

Zidane joined Real Madrid in January 2016 after the dismissal of Rafa Benitez, and defying all the odds, he led the side to three consecutive UEFA Champions trophy, having claimed the team the champions of Europe for a third time in a row.

Zidane became the first manager to win the Champions League in his first three seasons, defeating Juventus in the 2014 final and Liverpool this month.
