Young Greatness Was Killed in New Orleans Shooting! The US rapper died after being shot outside a New Orleans restaurant. He was 34.

According to local news affiliate WWL-TV, in the early hours of October 29, Young aka Theodore Jones was fatally shot outside the Waffle House.

The shooting reportedly happened at around 1:35 am (local time). According to the New Orleans Police Department, when police arrived, the victim was shot once and was pronounced dead on the scene.

Friends and family members of the rapper are still in shock and mourning after his tragic passing.

Of Young's death, a friend and fellow rapper P Town Moe told WWL-TV, "You wouldn't expect that coming happening with him. Dude wasn't into nothing but his music and his daughter… Wasn't into nothing else man".

According to the outlet, Young was to leave New Orleans the previous night but he had later changed his plans and stayed another night.

Born on September 19, 1984, in New Orleans, Young had relocated to Houston, Texas after the Hurricane Katrina. He rose to fame from his 2015 successful single 'Moolah' under the Quality Control label.
