Drake rose to fame as a child actor on Nickelodeon during the lates 90s and early 2000s. He has appeared in several TV shows, most notably The Amanda Show and Drake & Josh.

Drake co-starred on Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh alongside his friend Josh Peak. Drake has won nine Nickelodeon Kid's Choice Awards.

Drake has appeared in the role of Timmy Turner in the live action TV film titled A Fairly Odd Move: Group Up, Timmy Turner!. The TV film premiered on July 9, 2011

In addition to his TV roles, Drake has also appeared in a number of feature films such as Jerry Maguire, Dragon World, and Yours, Mine and Ours. Drake noted that he earned $408,000 in 2012 but in 2013 that it was just $14,000.
