I think John Mayer once said, “Someday, everything will make perfect sense. So for now, laugh at the confusion, smile through the tears, be strong and keep reminding yourself that everything happens for a reason.” A lot of people have been asking me what’s been going on with my hand and I haven’t shared much, because I wasn’t sure what was going on myself. After countless MRI’s, X-rays, CT scans, and doctor consultations, I was diagnosed with having a small Avulsion Fracture, bone spurring, and nerve entrapment in my right hand. After 3 cortisone injections and some rest following the British Open, we were hoping it was going to be enough to grind through the rest of the season, but it just wasn’t enough to get me through. So I made the decision after Hana Bank to withdraw from the rest of the season, come back to the states, and get surgery to fix these issues. It’s been disheartening dealing with pain in my hand all year but hopefully I am finally on the path to being and STAYING pain free! Happy to announce that surgery was a success today and I cannot wait to start my rehab so that I can come back stronger and healthier than ever. Huge thank you to Dr. Weiland’s team at HSS for taking great care of me throughout this process and to all my fans for your unwavering support. It truly means the world to me. I’ll be back soon guys!!!! Promise
Therefore at present, her prime concern seems to be for her health and career instead of relationships. But there are still questions if she has dated boyfriends in the past.
While at Stanford, it was rumored that Wie was dating Robin Lopez. Her then alleged boyfriend, Robin was a student-athlete and an integral part of Basketball programme at Stanford at the time.
He’s currently applying his trades at NBA franchise Chicago Bulls. Neither of the two made a public admission of their relationship.
Standing 6 foot, it seems that the Stanford Alumni has a knack for taller athletes, basketball athletes, to be more specific.
Michelle, who has a net worth of $12 million, is also said to have dated another hooper, Adam Zhan. It was Adam’s mom who had first revealed that the golfer was dating Adam for a couple of years. Reflecting on her friend’s blog, Adam’s mom wrote:
"Adam our middle is dating Michelle Wie, the golfer. She will be joining us for Christmas this year."
In a perfect world, the pro golfer would be happily married to Adam as her husband and would live a happy married life. But dwelling in an imperfect world, where heartbreaks are more common than happy endings, the pair's relationship also suffered the latter fate.
The couple couldn’t deny the functioning of the imperfect world as their relationship hit a dead end in June 2016, shortly after Michelle shared an adorable picture of them cuddling on her now deleted Instagram.
