Authorities were still searching for suspect Steven Joshua Wiggins and reward for information leading to his arrest was increased to $12,500. Steven is considered armed and highly dangerous. Steven was charged Tuesday, May 29, with hitting a woman and stealing her car, who was later identified as Erika, the station reports.

As per CBS Nashville affiliate WTVF-TV, Erika was named in police reports as Wiggins girlfriend.

State, federal and local authorities have since conducted a manhunt of the area where Baker was shot to death. He was found dead in his own patrolling car, located 2-3 miles away using GPS. Baker is survived by his wife and daughter.

He has the option to do the right thing,

Dickson County Sheriff Jeff Bledsoe said of the suspect Wiggins.

People make mistakes and people do things that are terrible, and this is an evil deed that he has done. But now he can show people that there's still something left in him by turning himself in.
