It's been nearly more than three months since Carrie Underwood gave birth to an adorable son and speculations have surfaced that she and her husband, Mike Fisher, will have another baby because she always wanted a girl.

A source exclusively told Us Weekly that the Grammy-winning singer, 36, "always wanted a little girl."

So despite her journey to her last pregnancy was "difficult emotionally and physically," the couple may try for another baby in the coming months.

For now, the songstress is enjoying her life with her newborn, who she has named Jacob, and his older brother, Isaiah, 4.

The insider added to the outlet, "She attends school functions and sports games. She’s a regular PTA mom."

As for the parenting relationship between Carrie and the former hockey player, 38, the source continued, "They balance each other out. Carrie tells her friends how lucky she is."

The pop star suffered multiple miscarriages before welcoming Jacob, now 3 months.
