She’s doing well! It's been just days since Wendy Williams filed for divorce from her husband, Kevin Hunter, and the television host opened up about how she’s coping.

During the broadcast of The Wendy Williams Show on Monday, April 15, the Ask Wendy author, 54, revealed that she spent time with friends and family over the weekend, noting that she’s leaving the sober house.

She said during the broadcast,

I had a really good weekend. I got together with my girls. I told you, I have my sober friends. I have six of them that are really good – two of them are my sponsors. They came over to the sober house this weekend!

She then went on to say that she was "moving out of the sober house in just a few days," and that it will be, "Wendy on her own!" soon.

Noting that she was thankful for her time in the sober house, the television personality added,

I have to tell you, you know I’ve been dealing with issues with addiction, alcoholism, and I have a whole new life that I plan for myself and my son. It’s one of the best things, honestly, that could have ever happened to me. … Addressing my sobriety, my addiction, head-on, has helped me sort out every single compartment of my life. I have a commitment to me and my son to come out of here better, stronger and faster than ever.

As we previously reported, on Wednesday, April 10, Wendy filed for divorce from the television producer, 46, citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

The marriage end news had come just two weeks after Wendy was hospitalized for alcohol relapse. The TV star was found intoxicated shortly after being checked out from a sober living facility.
