Wendy Williams Files for Divorce From Husband Kevin Hunter, Ends 21 Years of Marriage

Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter have split! The television host has filed for divorce from the television producer after more than 21 years of marriage, multiple sources have confirmed.

A personal representative for the Wendy Williams Show host, 54, told Us Weekly, "Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time."

The rep added, "Kevin is supportive of Wendy, and they are working through this process together."

Wendy, 54, and Kevin, 46, exchanged the vows on November 30, 1997. They share a son Kevin Jr., 18, together.

She was previously briefly married to an unidentified salesman, who she referred pseudonym Robert Morris III in her book, Wendy’s Got the Heat, in 1994.

The marital relationship between the pair had been bounded by cheating allegations for years. In photos published by the Daily Mail in September 2017, Kevin was seen spending time with a massage therapist, Sharina Hudson, in New Jersey.

Reports claimed at the time that Kevin and Sharina were involved in a romantic affair for more than a decade. However, Wendy told viewers not to "believe the hype" at the time.

This March, sources confirmed that the massage therapist gave birth to a baby girl and the television producer has speculated to be the father of her child.

The split news comes just two weeks after the television presenter was hospitalized for alcohol relapse; she was found intoxicated shortly after she was checked out from a sober living facility.
