It's been a few days since Wendy Williams filed for divorce from Kevin Hunter, and she now has fired her estranged husband from The Wendy Williams Show.

The television producer, 56, served as an executive producer and the manager of the television host, 54, on the daytime talk show.

A spokesperson for the show exclusively told Us Weekly on Thursday, April 18, "Kevin Hunter is no longer an executive producer on The Wendy Williams Show," adding, "Debmar-Mercury wishes him well in his future endeavors."

The Ask Wendy author, 54, filed the divorce papers on Wednesday, April 10. She served Kevin the papers while he was at the studio after which he walked around the set with it and jokingly said, "The papers are in here."

She cited "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split in the documents. Williams hasn’t missed a single show since the filing.

The estranged couple, who exchanged vows on November 30, 1997, shares a son Kevin Jr., 18 together. They were married for nearly 22 years.

Their marriage had been surrounded by cheating allegations for years. Some photos emerged on the internet in September 2017 showed Kevin spending time with his alleged mistress, Sharina Hudson, who gave birth to a baby girl last month.

Wendy was previously married to an unidentified salesman briefly in 1994.
