Vijay Singh was born on 22 February 1963  in Lautoka, Viti Levu, Colonial Fiji. He is the son of  Mohan Singh and Parwati Singh. He has three siblings named, Krishna, Mira and  Anita. He grew up in Nadi . 

1986

Married with Ardena Seth

Vijay Singh got married to Malaysian beauty Ardena Seth in  1985. The couple welcomed their first baby boy named Qath Seth,  who was born on June 16, 1990. Vijay Singh and his wife Ardena Seth  have   been loyal to each other

1988

Teamed up with Red Baron

 In the year of 1988, Vijay Singh teamed up with a sponsor, Red Baron, which funded a trip to Africa to compete on the now defunct Safari Tour where he captured his first event, the 1988 Nigerian Open.

1989

Won first European Tour title at Volvo Open Championship

In 1989, Singh won his first European Tour title at the Volvo Open Championship in Italy and finished 24th on the European Tour Order of Merit, putting his early struggles firmly behind him. At the Same year, he won four times at the Volvo Open di Firenze, Ivory Coast Open, Nigerian Open and Zimbabwe Open.

Won four tournaments

 In the year of 2003, Vijay Sing won four tournaments, his victories came at the Phoenix Open, the EDS Byron Nelson  Championship,  the John Deere Classic and the FUNAI Classic at the Walt Disney World Resort.

Began by winning AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am

Singh began 2004 by winning the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am at −16 and winning $954,000 in prize money,  won the final major of 2004, winning the PGA Championship. He also won the Deutsche Bank Championship in Norton, Massachusetts.

Finished his career with career-best nine victories,

Singh finished the 2004 season with a career-best nine victories, 18 top-10s, and a record $10,905,166 in earnings and was named the PGA Tour's and PGA of America's Player of the Year. The former award is decided by a vote of active PGA Tour players.

2016

Managed to finish second at the Quicken Loans National

In 2016, he managed to finish second at the Quicken Loans National, three strokes behind winner Billy Hurley III. It is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour in the Washington D.C. area The event is hosted by Tiger Woods and benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation.
