Bollywood Actor Vinod Khanna No More, Dies Weeks After Cancer Report, Virender Sehwag's Tweet

    Veteran actor and politician Vinod Khanna, who had been suffering from cancer died at 70 on Thursday at Mumbai’s HN Reliance Hospital. 

    The actor was previously hospitalized in the first week of April after he suffered from severe dehydration, however, he was later said to be stable. 



    “Doctors and family were expecting a recovery but somehow his condition escalated and he succumbed today afternoon,” said a hospital source.

    The actor who has given several hits films like 'Mere Apne', 'Mera Gaon Mera Desh', 'Imitihaan', 'Inkaar', 'Amar Akbar Anthony', 'Lahu ke Do Rang", "Qurbani", "Dayavaan" was also an active member in Bharatiya Janata Party member of the Lok Sabha from the Gurdaspur constituency in Punjab,

    The actor-turned-politician was last seen in Shah Rukh Khan-starrer 2015 film "Dilwale". 

    Following the death of the actor, several of his close friends shared their condolence including Virender Sehwag.


    Besides, Khanna was married twice and has four children, Akshaye, Rahul and Sakhsi and daughter Shraddha.
