Vegan chef and author Anthony Milan Ross is arrested and charged with three counts of first-degree murder (he killed his ex-wife and two children) and more than a dozen counts of aggravated assault on an officer, multiple sources have confirmed.
On Christmas morning, 45-year-old Anthony shared a video via Facebook of him and his son smiling, laughing and singing Santa Claus Is Coming to Town.
The Vegan Chef, who is a minor celebrity in the health-food world, said "Merry Christmas, everybody," and his 11-year-old son Nigel said, "Merry Christmas”.
Four hours later, police responded to reports of gunshots at Anthony’s apartment and found a much different scene. He was arrested after a long standoff and accused of killing his former wife and their two children.
When police arrived, 38-year-old Iris Lea Sutherland, who he divorced in September, was already dead on the front patio of the complex.
Witnesses told officers that they saw Anthony shoot her as she tried to run away and that he continued to go through her pockets, court records reports says. Witnesses further explained that when they approached, Anthony pointed a gun at them, they said.

Anthony then ran to his apartment. Eyewitnesses told police that they heard two-three gunshots coming from the apartment and that they believed Anthony’s two children were inside.
Police tried to negotiate with Anthony for several hours, uncertain whether his kids were still alive. At one point, officers sent a robot inside and saw that Anthony's 9-month-old daughter Anora was dead.
When police tried to get inside the apartment in search of Nigel, one policeman was shot in the shoulder. Eventually, cops got in and found the boy dead.
Anthony was taken into custody uninjured at 10:15 p.m.
