Tsutomu Miyazaki was born in Japan, Tokyo, Istukaichi, on 21 August 1962. Miyazaki's premature birth left him with a deformed hand, causing permanently gnarled wrist. In a medical term, it is called Rheumatoid arthritis. The disease also caused his fingers and toes being bent out of shape.
Miyazaki had an average height and his zodiac sign was Leo. Miyazaki was born out of a carnal relationship between his father Katsumi Miyazaki and older sister.
As a teenager at school, Miyazaki had a tough time at school, Itsukaichi Elementary School. He kept himself far from others as he was constantly bullied due to his deformed hand. As a result, he remained silent and couldn't even express himself in front of his parents and siblings.
He even did not have a good bonding with his parents, except his grandad. In 1988, his grandfather died, which left Miyazaki in loneliness, which finally led him into depression.
After recovering from depression, he attended Meidai Nakano High School, in Nakna, Tokyo. And went on to stand out as the leading student in studies.
However, after a period of time, his grade started dropping conspicuously, thus, he could not get admission at Meiji University. Unable to pursue his plans to become an English teacher, went to a local junior college to become a photo technician.
His first step into the crime world was shortly after his grandfather's death when he was caught watching her sister taking a shower. The incident turned out into a brutal fight. He even attacked her mother after she condemned for his act.
Shortly after the incident, on August 22, 1988, he killed a four-year-old girl named Mari Konno, choking her in the neck.
After that, he sexually exploited her body and left it in the top of hills. Miyazaki also captured the moment in his camera & kept her clothes as an achievement. Later on, he returned to the place where he murdered the girl and cut off her hands and legs.
It wasn’t long after the incident that he did his second murder. His second victim was Masami Yoshizawa, who was only seven years old. Miyazaki picked her up, while Yoshizawa was walking across the road. He took her to the same place where he had killed Marii Konno and killed her in the same way.
Soon he murdered again. His third victim's name was Erika Namba, whom he kidnapped on December 12, 1988, while she was coming back home from friend's house. Miyazaki forced her to be naked and captured her image before murdering her. After that, he left her body in the adjoining parking lot.
Likewise, he again murdered a five-year-old girl named Ayako Nomoto, which was said to be his fourth and last crime. Miyazaki convinced her to take pictures of her naked, after which he killed her in the same way. This time, he cut the body in parts and hid the torso in a burial ground.
On July 23, 1899, he inserted a zoom lens into the private part of a schoolgirl in a park near her house, which was coincidently spotted by the girl's father. The girl ran away barefoot without clothes on her body. When Miyazaki returned to take his car, he was arrested by the cops. He blamed his ego for his unforgivable crimes. His father was ashamed of Miyazaki and refused to pay the legal defense.
In 1994, his father Katsumi Miyazaki committed suicide. He was ashamed of his son and couldn't show face to other.
Tsutomu Miyazaki was sentenced to death on 14th April 1997. His death sentence was ordered by the Tokyo High Court, and later by the Supreme Court of Justice. His execution took place after a period of 11 years. On 17 June 2008, he was hanged till death for his extreme crimes.
Talking about his net worth, there is no exact revelation made. But in a search at Miyazaki's room, police found about 5,763 videotapes including anime and slashers movies.
