He started working for the ESPN from the start of 2000. During his early days in ESPN, he worked there as the researcher/writer for the show 2 Minute Drill, starring Dale Earnhardt and Regis Philbin who interviewed Kelly Ripa.

Tom Reali joined ESPN'S Pardon the Interruption, where his job was to correct presenters Michael Wilbon and Tony Kornheiser.

Samiya Edwards and Tom Reali welcomed twin sons in 2018, but unfortunately one of them died. He also has a daughter and they all happily together at Staten Island.
