The American TV columnist, Tony Dokoupil is for the most part known as the journalist for CBS News. The former national journalist for NBC News and MSNBC news channel has covered numerous essential issues. Tony is also known for being the husband of journalist Katy Bear Tur.
Tony Dokoupil was born in Miami, the United States, to parents Ann Dokoupil and Anthony Edward Dokupil. He is an American by nationality and his ethnicity is white.
As a child, Tony had a very rough childhood, due to his parent's substance abuse. His father was part of the Colombian marijuana cartel in America. To further add to his grief, his father departed when Tony was just 6, and he has mentioned that he spent a major part of his adult life searching for his father until finally uniting in 2014.

He also has written a book titled The Last Pirate, where he talks about growing up under his father, who was a part of the humongous marijuana syndicate of the time in the United States, and what effects it had on him and on his family.
Shortly after all these, he joined NBC News and also provided video graphical contents for the online platforms of NBC News and MSNBC.
He was then promoted as the national reporter for MSNBC and soon enough was made a network correspondent.
