Tina Turner's Son Craig Turner Dies of an Apparent Suicide at Age 59

Tina Turner’s eldest son, Craig Raymond Turner, has died of an apparent suicide at the age of 59 at 12:38 P.M. on Tuesday, July 3, multiple sources have confirmed.

According to the Los Angelas coroner's office, Craig was found dead with a self-inflicted gunshot wound by authorities inside his home in Studio City, California. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Craig's Facebook page, in which his mother is featured in several photos, he had been working as a real estate agent in the Los Angeles area.

Hours before his death, the American-born Swiss singer attended the Giorgio Armani Privé Haute Couture fashion show in Paris.

Tina, who is no 78 years Old, had given birth to Craig when she was only 18. Craig’s biological father was Tina's ex-boyfriend Raymond Hill, whom she dated from 1957 to 1958. Her first husband, Ike Turner, had adopted him after getting married in 1962.

The songstress is also the mother of her son Ronnie Turner, 57, whom he welcomed with Ike in 1960.

Tina filed for divorce from Ike in 1967 and he later died of an alleged drug overdose in December 2007. Tina later married her longtime boyfriend Erwin Bach in July 2013 after 27 years of dating.
