The Royal Couple, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle now on Instagram

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle can now be found on the social media platform, Instagram under the account name, sussexroyal, since 2nd April 2019.

The Royal Couple made their first Instagram post on Monday.

Prior to this, the Royal Couple used Kensington Place and other social media channels to update their fans.

But the account was a joint one, which they shared with Prince William and Kate Middleton.

Their account has already garnered over more than 2.1m followers.

Their first post read as follows,

“Welcome to our official Instagram; we look forward to sharing the work that drives us, the causes we support, important announcements, and the opportunity to shine a light on key issues. We thank you for your support, and welcome you to @sussexroyal.”- Harry & Meghan

In their first post the Dutch and Dutchess of Sussex photos of their travel, their royal tour photos followed by photos of the duo supporting a cause.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be using that account to let their family, fans, and followers know about the major news regarding the Royal Couple and to promote their causes.

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry aren't the only royalties using Instagram now.

The Crown, Queen Elizabeth II also joined the social media site in March 2019.
