The Bachelor's Ben Higgins Kissed Girlfriend Jessica Clarke When They First Met

It's been nearly a week since Ben Higgins announced that he was dating Jessica Clarke and the Bachelor alum's new girlfriend has now revealed that he kissed her when they first met.

Jessica, 23, who is a Nashville-based account manager, told Us Weekly in its sneak peek of The Ben and Ashley I: Almost Famous podcast, "Yeah, I think I walked outside and just laid it. Wasn’t it romantic?"

She added,

Yeah, I mean I thought it was romantic. Mostly because when I saw you I was like, ‘OK, do I make a joke or should I just say hi?’ And then you just kissed me, so I didn’t have to do either of them.

Ben’s co-host Ashley Iaconetti then added, "that’s what happens when you date a Bachelor!"

Ashley said, "He knows what he’s doing. He’s not worrying about kissing women for the first time."

As we previously reported, Ben confirmed he began dating a new lady but at the time, he didn't give much details about her.

One week later, during an episode of his podcast, the television personality shared that his new partner was not from Bachelor Nation.

One month later on February 20, Ben took to Instagram to introduce his new woman and of course it's Jessica Clarke.

Ben was previously engaged to Lauren Bushnell. They became engaged in The Bachelor finale on March 14, 2016, but parted ways one year later.
