19-year-old Nickolas Vinson, from Aurora, Colorado, has been charged with stabbing his stepfather, Lemar Owensby, to death with a 7-inch blade with a brass-knuckle-style handle after he posted his dying stepfather’s final moments on the popular networking site Snapchat.

While Vinson's mother screamed in the background, he said in his message:

According to the police, Vinson killed his stepfather because he “wanted to throw him out of the house.”
Records of the two’s text messages show that Vinson did not like Owensby’s requests for him to perform simple household chores. The two had even had a fist fight earlier.
When the police arrived in the scene, they found Vinson, covered with blood, ready to leave home to tell his friends that he’d be “going away for a long time.” He is being held in prison without bond.
