Tarita Teriipaia is a former actress of French Polynesian and Chinese descent. She was born on December 29, 1941, in Bora Bora, French Polynesia. She is most recognized as the third wife of actor Marlon Brando.
As an actress, she has played in a few successful movies. She first appeared as Maimiti in the 1962 film Mutiny on the Bounty (1962). The film also starred her then-husband, Marlon Brando. For the role, she received a Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress. Before her debut in the film industry, she worked as a dishwasher at a resort near Papeete, Tahiti.
Tarita, whose age in 77 years as of 2018, holds French nationality and belongs to white ethnicity. She the third wife of her husband Brando. They were married in 1962.
The other wives of Brando’s are Movita Castaneda and Anna Kashti. She is the mother of two children from Brando’s, a son Simon Teihotu and a daughter Tarita Cheyenne. The couple got a divorce in 1972.
Her former husband Marion Brando died in 2004. She is the only wife of Brando who is still alive. After a month of her husband's death, Tarita published her memories titled “Marion, My Love and My Torment”.
