She began her professional career from KBTX. It seems like when she began working with them, she was still attending Temple University. She began working for KBTX since 1992 and she remained there till 1994.
After obtaining her Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Temple University, she joined KTVT. That was also the same year; she left her post from KBTX where she spent first two years of her professional life.
