Emilio Estevez career

Emilio started his career with the help of his father Martin Sheen and made his first stage debut alongside his father in Mister Roberts at Burt Reynolds theater in Jupiter, Florida.

Brat Pack

Emilio and Rob Lowe together started the Brat Pack, a group of young actors, during the 1980s. there he appeared for the movie The Outsiders, an adaption from the novel of the same name by author S. E. Hinton.

 After The Outsiders, Emilio appeared in the cult film Repo Man and then co-starred in The Breakfast Club and St Elmo's Fire.

In 1985, Emilio co-wrote and starred in another drama film That was Then...This Is Now, film based on the same novel by S. E. Hinton, which was also a sequel to The Outsiders. While on Brat Pack he also acted in several other movies like the horror film Maximum Overdrive, a movie based on the novel by Stephen King the crime drama Wisdom and played lead roles in Stakeout and Young Guns and Young Guns II.


Besides acting, Estevez is also known for his remarkable works as a director, making his debut with the 1986 film Wisdom, which gained him recognition as the youngest person to ever write, direct, and star in a single motion picture. His other works include Men at Work, where he worked alongside his brother Charlie SheenThe War at Home and the 2006 film Bobby, whose story took six years to complete.
