Following graduation, the daughter of the executive director of the Merck Childhood Asthma Network, Suzanne first began her career as a general assignment reporter in New England Cable News.

She then joined WRC-TV in 1996 and worked there as the rock-and-roll reporter for about three years.

Then in 1999, Suzanne joined NBC News and began working as a reporter and the news correspondent. Similarly, she also attended several interviews with numerous amazing personalities, which later helped her to come into the limelight. Some of her notable interviews are with George H. W. Bush, Bill Clinton, and George W. Bush.
