Edappal Ponnamkuzhi Veettil Sukumaran Nair, or Sukumaran, was a popular Indian film star in Malayalam cinema from the early ’70s to ’90s born in Edappal, Malappuram. He was born to Father Parameshwaran Nair & Mother Subhadramma and grew up with his siblings. He attended St. Thomas Higher Secondary School and pursued his master’s degree in English Literature with a gold medal from Thiruvananthapuram University. Regarding his ethnicity and nationality, he is a south Asian actor holding Indian Nationality.
While Sukumaran was teaching at Scott Christian College, he got an offer to act in the Malayalam movie “Nirmalyam” which bridges him towards “Avalude Ravukal”, “Etho Oru Swapnam”, “Bandhanam”, “Manasa Vacha Karmana”, “Salini ente Koottukari”, “Kolilakkam,” “Witness”, etc. He also made the conspicuous role in the C.B.I. diary “Kurippu” and its sequel which earns him several awards and trophy. Sukumaran also won Kerala State Film Awards for the Best Actor in Bandhanam and owes own production company Indraraj Creations.
Moving towards his personal life, Sukumaran married to Mallika, who is also a well-known Indian film and television actress. They have two sons Indrajith and Prithviraj Sukumaran and both are a Malayalam film star. Sukumara earns huge amount of money in his short time career but due to the sudden heart attack at the age of 49, he died. It has been estimated that his current net worth is $2 million.
