Stephen Colbert Announced $1 Million In The Puerto Rico Hurricane Relief #PuberMe Campaign

The story began last Wednesday on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert when guest Nick Kroll encouraged Stephen and the fellow stars to tweet awkward teenage pictures of themselves with the hashtag #PuberMe and #PuertoRicoRelief to help the victims of Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico with a $1,000 donation for each post.

Now, just after a week, Stephen Colbert has announced that the viral sensation has raised $1 million for Puerto Rico Hurricane relief. Over 200 teenage pictures of stars were posted and participants include from Bill Clinton to Reese Witherspoon to Arnold Schwarzenegger.

On Thursday show, The Late Show television presenter revealed the total amount of money raised for OneAmericaAppeal.org.
