Thomas Ravenel has been accused of sexual assault by two different women and among the victims, one came forward to reveal her identity.
The 55-year-old politician's former nanny - referred to as Nanny Dawn - on the Bravo series, claimed that she is the woman who reported Thomas on May 7 for an alleged encounter from January 2015.
Dawn is the first woman who worked for the reality star and his ex-girlfriend, Kathryn Dennis, as a caretaker for their two kids, Kensie, 4, and Saint, 2.
As per the report, the second alleged victim spoke to Charleston police for five hours on May 7 to accuse Thomas of sexual misconduct. The allegations include a “sex offense” and “forcible rape.”
On Monday, May 14, Dawn detailed the allegations to People, claiming that the former State Treasurer allegedly tried to kiss her in the kitchen after which she went upstairs to get her car keys but was “corralled into the master bedroom and he shut the door.”
I went upstairs to get my jacket which had the key to my vehicle in the pocket. I was corralled into the master bedroom and he shut the door behind me. I turned around and he had his pants dropped, not wearing underwear. He was blocking the door. I was mortified, embarrassed, and scared.
I was unsure what to do because Kensie was sleeping very close by. He proceeded to rip my clothes off, and I struggled to redress. I remember how worried I was that I may have to run outside in the January cold without clothes on and in an upscale neighborhood. I lived almost an hour away so I would have to drive home naked.
Dawn didn't go into detail about the assault but Dawn said that Thomas later apologized and “promised it would never happen again.”
Thomas first made headlines for sexual assault accusations on May 3 when Ashley Perkins, who is a real estate agent, claimed that Thomas assaulted her mother Debbie Holloway Perkins after meeting on Tinder.
