John-David Duggar and Abbie Grace Burnett are all set to get married! It's only been a month that the couple made their relationship public and they have now announced their engagement.
In the new issue of Us Weekly, the duo revealed, "The proposal and the ‘yes’ really solidified that we want to spend the rest of our lives together. It was a special moment to share together."
John and Abbie, who know each other for years, “really got connected” when Jana Duggar's brother, 28, traveled to a church event in the native of Abbie, 26, Oklahoma, and just last month, the couple announced that they were dating.
She explained to Us Weekly in June, From there, “We fell in love very quickly”.
The couple further told at the time, "One of the most amazing things about following Christ is being able to trust Him to direct your path and lead your life. We are so thankful that He led us to one another."
Of their marriage, the duo says, "We need to start thinking about a wedding!"
The engagement comes just weeks after Duggar’s younger brother Josiah Duggar tied the knot with Lauren Swanson; they got married on July 1.
Last week, another Duggar family member, Jinger Duggar welcomed her first child, a baby girl, with her husband Jeremy Vuolo. The couple has named their daughter Felicity Nicole Vuolo.
