Scott Richard Grimes is an American actor, voice artist, songwriter, and singer known for his roles as Dr. Archie Morris in ER, Will McCorkle in Party of Five, and the animated sitcom American Dad! In American Dad!, he has voiced a character named Steve Smith.

Scott was born in Lowell, Massachusetts, on July 9, 1971, to mother Pam and father Rick Grimes. He spent most of his youth in Dracut alongside his sister Heather Grimes, who is also an actress. He attended Dracut Public School.

He started acting at an early age. He made his acting debut at the age of 13 in 1984 thriller/drams 1984. He also appeared in an episode of the Twilight Zone called Little Boy Lost in 1985.

Scott also starred in the movie Frog. Similarly, he voiced the character named Pinocchio in the movie Pinocchio and the Emperor of the Night. He got featured in the sequence of American comedy horror science fiction film Critters: 2 in 1988. The same year, he appeared in Bring Me the Head of Dobie Gillis with Dwayne Hickman, Connie Stevens, and Tricia Leigh Fisher.

He is also known for his recurring role on 1987 Who’s the Boss as Chad McCann, and his appearances as Will McCorkle in the 1994-2000 TV series Party of Five.

He has appeared in several other movies that include Night Life (1989), Crimson Tide (1995), Mystery, Alaska (1999), Robin Hood (2010), Dreamkeeper (2003), and Winter’s Tale (2014).

Scott also participated in the 2013 movie Criminal Minds as Donnie Bidwell in episode Carbon Copy in 2016 Justified as Seabass for six episodes alongside Timothy Olyphant, Nick Searcy, Joelle Carter, Jacob Pitts, Natalie Zea, and Jere Burns.

He has also appeared in many TV shows which includes Together We Stand (1986), Star Trek: The Next Generation (1989), Birdland (1994), Goode Behaviour (1996), Jump Street (1990), SpongeBob SquarePants (1999), American Dad! Scott has established himself as a singer too. In 1986 March, Scott appeared in Bob Hope TV special and sing ‘Somewhere Over The Rainbow’. He released his first album, Scott Grimes, in 1989. He released his second album Livin’ on the Run in 2005. His third album was released in 2010. He has recorded and has released many hit single.
