A former Fresno middle school teacher, namely Justine Nelson, 33, pleaded guilty of a sex act on a boy of age 14 on Tuesday, April 9, multiple sources have confirmed reports.

Nelson was not found guilty of the more serious charges of "a lewd or lascivious act with a minor".

The Fresno Bee reported that Nelson, who has been registered as a sex offender, faces up to three years in prison.

Due to the decision of the jury, Nelson, who is married and pregnant with her baby. no 2, broke down.

Nelson reportedly said, "I am just thankful it’s over. I can now move on with my life and focus on my family."

Nelson, who used to teach at Tenaya Middle School, allegedly performed the sex act on the 14-year-old boy in her classroom.

As per the report, she even sent him semi-nude photographs of herself. The boy is now 16.

Last week, the boy told the jury that it was his teacher who started the physical contact. He then said that he and Nelson had sex multiple times in her classroom in between and after school.

However, according to Deputy District Attorney Liz Owen, Nelson denied having a relationship with the student but had joked with detectives about "hooking up with a 14-year-old."

Nelson admitted to giving the boy oral sex but she had reportedly been coerced after the boy threatened her to tell people about their relationship.
