Not Giving Up! Sarah Hyland has reminded herself that she should stay strong and active, speaking up about her constant pain amid her ongoing health battle.

The Modern Family star, 28, took to Instagram on Thursday, April 18, to share a selfie of herself in a bikini and motivated herself that despite the continued recovery from various medical issues, she can "make it to the gym."

In the candid post, she also opened up about her hardship from the health issues she has been suffering from.

She captioned the post,

I’m putting this #tbt out there to remind myself that I can make it to the gym. Lately I’ve been making excuses because of the constant pain from health issues. But no more. A woman’s body is a miraculous thing and we can do anything we set our minds to. #summer #bodygoals here I come.

Her boyfriend Wells Adams, who she is dating from two years, left a sweet message to his loving girlfriend in the comments section of the post, writing, "Coming straight home now. Don’t move."

The Geek Charming star has been suffering from kidney dysplasia, depression and chronic pain. In January, the actress told Ellen Degeneres on her show that she was "very, very, very close" to commit suicide when the pain became unbearable when she was in her mid to late-20s.

Sarah underwent a second kidney transplant in December 2018 after her body rejected the first kidney, which her father, Edward James Hyland, had donated her in February 2012.
