Crowe joined Vaucluse Public School and later went on to Sydney Boys High School. At the age of 14, he returned back to New Zealand together with his family members and attended Auckland Grammar School. After that, he enrolled at Mount Roskill Grammar School and drop out from his school to pursue his acting career.
