Congratulations are in order for Richard Gere and Alejandra Silva! The Days of Heaven star's wife has given birth in New York City; they have welcomed their first child, a baby boy, together.

A representative for the actor, 69, confirmed to Us Weekly on Monday, February 11, that the couple recently added a new member to the family.

Richard is also the father of a 19-year-old son Homer, who he shares with ex-wife Carey Lowell (2002-2016). Alejandra, meanwhile, shares son Albert with his ex-husband Govind Friedland (2012-2015).

Richard was previously also married to Cindy Crawford, while Silva shares son Albert with ex-husband Govind Friedland.

As we previously reported, on September 16, Alejandra confirmed that she and her loving husband were expecting their first child together via Instagram, one month before her pregnancy surfaced in August 2018.

The Pretty Woman actor and the publicist, 35, secretly got married in April 2018 after dating for more than three years.

Days after their wedding, the couple opened up about their relationship to HOLA! magazine.

The Runway Bride actor told the publication said at the time, "I have found the quiet and happy life that I have always sought".
