American rapper Michael Lawrence Tyler also known by his stage name Mystikal stepped back on the stage on Saturday, 27th April 2019, after spending 18 months in prison for charges against rape.

The 48-year-old rapper made a surprise guest appearance on Saturday night at the Funk Fest in Orlando.

This was his first major performance since exiting the penitentiary and the crowd went wild and welcomed him back.

Rapper Doug E. Fresh introduced him to the concert-goers and then sang his previous hits, performing Shake Ya A** and Move B*tch in front of thousands of fans.

It's a triumphant return for Mystikal as Funk Fest is an event that goes on for two days, with headlining rappers T.I.JeezyErykah Baduand Plies.

Rapper Mystikal was released from prison in February after he accumulated $3 million for his bail.

The money came as an advance for a new record contract, and additional funds raised by the American rapper's family and friends.
