Rapper Kodak Black Arrested at US Border and Charged on Drugs and Weapons

Kodak Black was arrested while trying to enter the US from Canada to the United States of America near Niagara Falls on Wednesday, April 17.

The rapper took a temporary California registration and attempted to cross at the Lewiston-Queenston International Bridge in a Cadillac Escalade.

The rapper 21, whose real name is Bill Kapri, was charged with second-degree Unlawful Possession of Marijuana and Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

Jeantony Saintmelus, who was traveling with the rapper, was also taken into custody on the same charges.

Two other members of his team, Madarrow D. Smith and Stetson J. President, were indicted on a charge of second-degree Criminal Possession of a Weapon.

Due to his arrest, the rapper missed his scheduled Wednesday night concert at the House of Blues in Boston.

Additionally, his Thursday night show, which was set to held at Foxwoods Resort Casino in Connecticut, has been canceled.

As per the report, Kodak was released on a $ 20,000 bond on Thursday morning.
