Corey Miller aka C-Murder was the most talked about rapper in 2003, but for all the wrong reasons. He was accused of second-degree murder of a 16-year old fan named Steve Thomas at the Platinum Club. In 2009 he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to life imprisonment. Let’s take a look at his net worth and career.
C-Murder has been sentenced to life in imprisonment and still has an impressive net worth of $500 thousand. His main source of earning comes from his music career. Till now Miller has released eight albums among which three was a major hit.
Besides, he also is the CEO and co-founder of Bossalinie Records which signed artists like M.O, Bloc Boyz Click, Holidae, Verse, and Young Steez. Just imagine how much he earns from this label. C-Murder is an American rapper, songwriter, and actor. In the late 1990’s he rose to fame after featuring in a number of No Limit releases. Eventually in 1998 Miller released his debut album Life and Death which ranked number 3 on the US Billboard 200 and overall sold one million copies making it certified platinum. Again in 1999, Miller was back with his second album Bossalinie which was even more successful, charted number two on the Billboard 200 and sold over 500,000 copies making it certified gold.
Miller just kept rising higher and higher and in 2000 be bought out his third album, Trapped in Crime, which included his all-time hit till date Down for My N’s. The song featured fellow No Limit artists at the time Snoop Dogg and Magic.
In 2001 Miller released his last album with No Limit Records and was titled C-p-3.com. However, the album wasn’t as successful as his previous ones. In 2005 he took out his fifth album titled The Truest Shit I Ever Said and was the first album he released while being imprisoned. After that, Miller released 4 more albums while in prison. His last album Penitentiary Chances is about the murder charge and he claims to be innocent until this day.
Apart from music he also had a brief career in the movie industry. Miller made his debut in acting in 1998 when he co-starred in the movie titled Da Game of Life. Again in the same year, he acted in I Got the Hook Up alongside his brother Master P. And in 2000 Miller co-starred in Hot Boyz.
Miller also has written 3 novels namely Death Around The Corner, Red Beans and Dirty Rice For The Soul and Bound By Loyalty. All of these books were written while in prison.
