Rapper Biggie Smalls Missed by BFF Sean "P. Diddy" Combs on his 22nd Death Anniversary

Rapper Sean "Diddy" Combs took it to Instagram to pay respect to his long-departed BFF and rapper Christopher Wallace aka The Notorious Big, Biggie Smalls or Biggie.

He further posted of himself dancing to Biggie's milestone song Party and Bulls**t and also went on to congratulate CJ Wallace, Biggie's son on the promotion of his Think BIG, a cannabis brand.

Born on May 21, 1972, rapper The Notorious B.I.G was shot dead today in 1997.

The rapper was just 24 years of age when he met his demise in Los Angeles and is remembered till date as the greatest rapper of all time.

Biggie was seated in the front seat of his GMC Yukon when a black Chevy Impala pulled beside his car at the traffic light.

The driver of the car, an African-American male dressed in a blue suit rolled down the window of the car and started opening fire at Biggie Smalls's GMC.

Four bullets from a 9mm blue-steel pistol hit Christopher and he was immediately rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The rapper was pronounced dead at exactly 1:15 am.

During the course of the mishap, Sean Diddy Combs along with Lil'Cease were in another car that trailed behind Biggie's.

The killer of the shootout was never found and Sean Diddy escaped death by inches.
