1975

Graduated from Iona College

After his high school graduation, Randy joined Iona College. There he majored in finance and he finally earned his Bachelor of Business Administration in 1975. There he also pursued his Master of Business Administration and finally earned his MBA in 1979.

Joined NBC

He began his professional career from NBC in 1975. There he took several managerial positions in finance, technical operations and so on. He also managed corporate strategic planning as a manager of NBC. He also designed and created several of its shows. 

1993

Was named the President of NBC's Broadcast and Network

In 1986, he was named the Vice President of Finance and Administration, NBC Sports and he took this position till 1991. He created the show Window on the World during the late 1980s. From 1993, he became the President of NBC's Broadcast and Network Operations division.

Was named the president of NBC Universal Television Network Group

He played an important role to merge NBC and Universal. After NBC merged with Universal, he was announced the President of the NBC Universal Television Network Group in 2004. $14 billion deal was signed in 2004 and he made the deal happen.

Served as COO for the 2002 Winter Olympics

Randy Falco is a media executive from United States. In the early 1990s, he played an important role in NBC’s ongoing success with the Olympic Game. He was the main man to secure exclusive NBC coverage for five consecutive Olympic Games starting from 2000. In 2002, he served as COO for the 2002 Winter Olympics.

In the early 2011, he was named as the Executive Vice President and COO for Univision. Within six months, he was promoted to the post of President and CEO of Univision Communications Inc. (UCI). He also oversees the board of directors of Univision Communications.
