Singer R. Kelly has been set free by the Cook County Jail on 9th March 2019 after he managed to accumulate the money which he was due to pay for child support.

The singer was set free by the jail after he paid the remaining $161,633 to his ex-wife Drea Kelly.

As he stepped out of the penitentiary, R. Kelly addressed his fans

I promise we're gonna straighten all this out. That's all I can say right now. I love my fans.

Surprisingly there were many responses from the crowd, including a woman who screamed

Please touch my hand!

Due to his inability to pay the child support to Drea Kelly in the previous hearing, the court had sentenced him to jail on the 6th March.
