
Prince William and Kate Middleton rarely engage in PDA. It’s not surprising that the Royals are not allowed to do what we common folks are, especially given their pressure to maintain a certain kind of decorum and considering Queen Elizabeth’s desire to see her brood keep their hands to themselves.
But, going by the turn of events, it seems that the era of non-PDA royalty is finally coming to an end. Take Prince William, the future king, who recently broke the rule not just once but twice.

During the recent annual Saint Patrick’s Day parade held in London, the Duke of Cambridge placed his gloved hand on Kate’s green coat dress, while greeting the Irish Guards at the Cavalry Barracks in the city.
The royalties caused a sensation during the event not just because of the PDA but also, in case of Kate, because of the dress. Middleton rocked the show in her all-green, Catherine Walker ensemble that quickly sent the fashion world abuzz.

Prince William was caught with his hand on his wife’s back days before Saint Patrick’s Day, when they attended Commonwealth Day ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
However, its Kate who seems to have started it all in December, when she affectionately put her hand on William’s knee when they received gold Blue Peter badges.
