You may think inviting your ex in your wedding is cause for concern. But wait! Prince Harry took an unusual step of inviting his ex-girlfriend, Cressida Bonas to his royal wedding to Meghan Markle and you know what? She gladly accepted it.

On Thursday, May 24, the 29-year-old actress revealed she didn't feel anxious about attending.

In a column for the U.K. magazine The Spectator, Cressida opened up about her experience and what she was worried about attending her ex-boyfriend's wedding in a column.

The model admitted,

Friends are starting to get married, which means the dilemma of British wedding attire. Hats. Why do I find hats so tricky? Tricky to wear, tricky to look at, and extremely tricky for the poor soul sitting in the pew behind.

She continued,

Most of the time I avoid headgear. This can prompt disapproving looks from the older generations. Last weekend I attended the royal wedding. The invitation clearly stated that guests must wear hats. Yikes.

Cressida added, "I opted for a minimal feathered number — and can only hope I got it right."

The former couple dated for two years after being introduced to by Harry's cousin Princess Eugenie.

Harry and Cressida parted ways amicably in 2014. Harry had also invited former girlfriend Chelsy Davy, with whom he was in an on-and-off relationship for 7 years; from 2004 to 2011.

As previously reported, the royal couple, who had announced their engagement in November 2017, tied the knot at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle on May 19.
