Happy news for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's fans! Their wedding day has confirmed. The couple is going to conduct their wedding on Saturday 19 May 2018, Kensington Palace has announced.
Last month, Harry and Markle had confirmed their engagement saying that the service would be at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.
The date breaks with tradition as royal weddings have usually been held on a weekday - the Queen married on a Thursday and Prince William on a Friday.
The wedding will be on the following day as the FA Cup Final, that Prince William normally attends as FA president. The time of the match has yet to be confirmed, however, in recent years it has taken place at 17:30 GMT.

The Royal Family will pay for the wedding which includes the service, music, flowers, and reception. The event is going to take place just a few weeks after the William and his wife Catherine are expected to welcome their third child to the family.
Markle will be baptized into the Church of England and confirmed before the wedding. Earlier this week, Kensington Palace announced the duo will be spending Christmas together at Sandringham with the Queen.
