Polly Tsai is the wife of American celebrity chef and restauranter Ming Tsai. Polly Tsai does not own professional accomplishments of her own, but she is definitely the inspiration to the renowned success of the American television personality and her husband Ming Tsai. They have been married for 23 years and have two sons. 

Early Life of Polly Tsai 

Polly Talbott was born on 24 September 1977, in Raleigh, North Carolina. She has two brothers, David Talbott, and Mark Talbott. Both of her brothers are squash player. Mark is a former hardball squash player.

Polly's other brother coached squash at renowned Yale University. Coincidentally, David also coached Polly's now-husband Ming at Yale.

Personal Life and Career of Polly Tsai

Polly Tsai was known in the public because of her marriage with Ming Tsai in April 1996. Polly and Ming have two beautiful sons, David Tsai, and Henry Tsai. They are named after Chinese-American playwright David Henry Hwang.

Ming, who became the national spokesman for the Food Allergy & Anaphylaxis Network in 2005, opted to become a food allergy advocate upon the insistence of Polly, considering the fact that one of their sons suffered severe food allergies. 

Polly's continuous support in her husband Ming's success

Polly has been a huge support for Ming in his career from the start. Ming's television career flourished after his appearance as a judge in the show Cooking Under Fire, in the PBS network, in 2005.

Talbott also supported Ming to host his own television series Simply Ming from 2004 to 2013. He then became the executive producer of the same show from 2011 to 2012.

Polly also helped her chef-husband open his first restaurant, Blue Ginger, in Wellesley, Massachusetts. They opened the restaurant in 1998, after two years of marriage.

Their restaurant's theme was Asian Fusion cuisine. The restaurant officially closed on June 3rd, 2017 after 19 years of service.

Polly also assisted Ming to open the Blue Dragon pub in Boston in 2013. The restaurant has earned Zagat recognition and has been named Esquire Magazine's, 'Best New Restaurant' in its opening year.
