Playboy Model, Kelsey Turner, 25, Arrested in Death of California Psychiatrist, 71

Playboy model, Kelsey Turner, 25, has been arrested in California and charged with the murder of a child psychiatrist, Dr. Thomas Burchard, 71, who was found bludgeoned to death in a car trunk in Nevada earlier this month, authorities confirmed on Thursday, March 28.

According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police, the model was taken into custody on March 21 in Stockton in connection with the death of the child psychiatrist, who was from Salinas, California.

FOX5 Las Vegas reported that Kelsey was indicted by the Stockton FBI task force and Las Vegas detectives.

Further details on her arrest, including how police identified the model as a suspect in the death of Thomas, were not immediately available.

Thomas was discovered dead on March 7 near the Lake Mead National Recreational Area after a person noticed a rock was thrown through a window of the vehicle. It's unclear who owned the car.

As per the report, the doctor, whose death was ruled a homicide, died from blunt force injury to the head.

The victim had worked for four decades in the behavioral health program with Montage Health. He chose not to retire at 65 because he didn't want to leave his patients

According to the Californian of Salinas report, Kelsey worked as a model for Playboy's Italian-language website.
