Pink Postpones Detroit Concert Due to Illness, Battling the Flu: 'I'm Very Sorry'

Pink is immune from the flu this season! She has postponed her Sunday night concert in Detroit, Michigan, due to illness, shortly after postponing another concert on her Trauma tour in Canada just days before.

The 38-year-old singer took to Twitter on Saturday to announce that she was canceling her Sunday night's Detroit concert.

She wrote in the note she shared via Twitter,

I've just seen the doctor here again in Montreal. I’m not going to be well enough to do the show tomorrow night in Detroit. I want to give you all the full show and not be hacking all the way through it and have to cut songs because of my voice.

    She continued,

I understand how much trouble you go to to be at my shows, what it entails, the planning, the schedules, etc. I am very very sorry, and I’m very grateful for your understanding,

    She further added,

I will absolutely do this show at a later date, and it will be the full show. Again, I’m very sorry and have tried so damn hard to avoid this. All my love.

Here's the tweet, check it out.

This is not the first time that the What About Us artist has forced to postpone the concert due to flu. On Thursday, the songstress announced that she was too sick and thus was not able to perform at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec.

At the time, she explained that her "entire family have been battling this awful virus/flu for two weeks now, and I have battled my way through these shows because postponing sucks."

Pink has been suffered from flu since February after her national anthem performance at the Super Bowl.

As previously reported, a few days back, another songstress Céline Dion canceled her Las Vegas concert from March 27 to April 18 in order to undergo ear surgery.
