A woman from Nevada was charged with murder as a man she allegedly pushed off from the bus died of head injury. She reportedly pushed the man, Serge Fournier, 74, in March after he asked her to be polite with other passengers.
Following the accident, Cadesha Bishop, 25, was kept in police custody. The accident reportedly happened in Las Vegas after Cadesha, who was using abusive language was asked to be quiet, the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported.
Cadesha was apprehended on Monday, almost a month after the incident. Well, she was alleged of pushing Fournier from the bus “with enough force that he never touched any of the steps.” He fell almost 8 feet away from the bus.
Fournier, in the moment of his consciousness, told a reporter that he was walking up the aisle when the incident occurred.
Fournier died in the hospital on April 23. The Clark County Coroner’s Office reported that he died of complications from the incident and the death was ruled a homicide.
The culprit, Bishop, was identified via surveillance camera footage, however, the video has not been made public.
Bishop, as reported, was held for the preliminary hearing of evidence set for May 21, for a $100,000 bail.
