Paris Jackson was hospitalized in Los Angeles after a suicide attempt on Saturday, March 16, multiple sources have confirmed.
According to TMZ reports, police and paramedics were called to the home of late Michael Jackson's daughter in L.A. at 7:30 on Saturday morning after she apparently cut her wrists.
The outlet reported that Paris, 20, was transported to a local hospital where she was placed on a 5150 psychiatric hold. She is reportedly in a stable condition.
The Blast reported that she "lost a lot of blood."
An insider said,
She is in better spirits and surrounded by friends and family,” a source told Us. “She’s strong but had a horrible episode, appears that everything she held inside finally burst. She does feel better and family and friends are still flying in.
TMZ subsequently reported that the actress had been released from the hospital. A source told media that is now home and under the care of her team.
A Los Angeles Police Department's spokesperson told Radar,
We can confirm that an ambulance attended a suicide attempt at the 7200 block of Hillside in Los Angeles earlier today. The victim was transported to a local hospital – under HIPPA rules we cannot reveal this person’s identity.
Earlier in the day, the Gringo star shared a tweet writing the word "bulls–t." She responded to the TMZ story on Twitter. She wrote, "f—k you you f—king liars."
Additionally, Paris also shared a photo of herself on Instagram Stories writing that she was "chillen like Bob Dylan."
