It's been nearly one week since Paris Jackson allegedly attempted suicide and the Gringo star "is being encouraged to go to rehab," multiple sources have confirmed.

A source exclusively told Us Weekly that the model's godfather, Macaulay Culkin, could potentially encourage her to seek treatment.

The insider told the publication, "Macaulay probably has the most influence on Paris."

The source added,

He has his stuff together and he knew her dad [Michael Jackson] well. He can be a support for her when she needs it.

The rehab encouragement news comes just a few days after the actress was allegedly taken to a hospital after paramedics and police were called to her L.A. home after her suicide attempt.

TMZ reported at the time, that she had slit her wrists on Saturday, March 16, following the sexual abuse allegations made in the 'Leaving Neverland' documentary against her father Michael Jackson.

A source said at the time,

[Paris] is in better spirits and surrounded by friends and family. She’s strong but had a horrible episode; [it] appears that everything she held inside finally burst. She does feel better and family and friends are still flying in.

Hours after her alleged suicide attempt, Paris was spotted out for a movie and fast food with her boyfriend, Gabriel Glenn, at Universal Studios. The pair looked all smiling at the time.

Paris had shared a tweet in a response to TMZ's fake report about her suicide attempt. She wrote, "bulls–t. f—k you you f—king liars."
