Wil Wheaton is an American actor, blogger, voice actor, and writer known for portrayals of Wesley Crusher on the television series Star Trek. He is also remembered for his regular appearances in the TV show The Big Bang Theory, as himself.

Wil Wheaton was born as Richard William Wheaton III on July 29, 1972, in Burbank, California. He is the son of Debra Nordean "Debbie", an actress, and Richard William Wheaton, Jr., a medical specialist.
Wheaton's nationality is American and ethnicity is English. He has two siblings a brother, Jeremy Wheaton, and a sister, Amy Wheaton.

Professionally he is an American actor, blogger, voice actor, and writer. He first gained international attention by starring in the comedy-drama film Stand by Me in 1986, where he played the role of Gordie Lachance alongside late River Phoenix, Corey Feldman and Kiefer Sutherland.
In 1981 Wheaton made his acting career debut in the television film A Long Way Home. Furthermore, he was seen in the first four seasons of Star Trek: The Next Generation, starring Patrick Stewart and Jonathan Frakes, in the role of Wesley Crusher from 1987 to 1991.

Wil Wheaton married his wife Anne Prince on 7th November 1999. Together the couple hasn't welcomed any child yet, but Will Wheaton has legally adopted Anne's two sons from her previous relationship.
