She was born in Fukuoka, Fukuoka Prefecture, Japan to parents Ree Veal and Victor Principal. Her father was a United States Air Force sergeant. She was raised in different countries because of his father job. She is American and is diverse descent.

1978

First marriage, Christopher Skinner

She got married for the first time in her life and that was in the year 1978 to Christopher Skinner. He is an actor. They met each other on the set of CBS soap opera Dallas. They were perfect couple.

1980

Divorced with Christopher Skinner

Their married life was going well. But after two years of marriage, the couple decided to get divorced. They got divorced in December 1980. The reason behind the divorce was lack of trust and mutual understanding between them.
