Vera Wang was from the upper-class family born in New York City, New York, United States of America to Cheng Ching Wang and Florence Wu. She is an American and is of Chinese descent.
Vera Wang attended The Chapin School. She completed her education from there in 1967. While she was there she was a figure skating and she also took part in U.S. Figure Skating Championships. After her high school days, she was enrolled at the University of Paris.
